Two and Fro Music | Web Design Project

Two and Fro Music, a collaborative music project creating original electronic and dance productions, required an e-commerce platform that serves as both a music sales channel and an artist portfolio. SO Web Designs developed a WordPress and WooCommerce solution that integrates digital music downloads, physical merchandise sales, links to streaming platforms, and artist storytelling into a cohesive online presence that supports both commercial and promotional objectives.

The platform built by SO Web Designs enables customers to purchase individual tracks, complete albums, and limited-edition physical releases through secure download delivery. SO Web Designs implemented audio preview functionality, allowing potential buyers to sample tracks before purchase, whilst ensuring file security and preventing unauthorised downloads. The WooCommerce integration handles both digital product delivery through automated secure links and physical merchandise fulfilment with shipping calculations and tracking integration.

SO Web Designs designed the website to reflect the musical aesthetic through custom Elementor layouts, typography, and colour schemes that align with the album artwork and brand identity. Artist biography sections, production credits, and collaboration information provide context for the music, whilst release pages feature track listings, production notes, and artwork galleries. SO Web Designs integrated streaming platform widgets, allowing visitors to listen on Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube whilst browsing the site, with strategic placement of purchase options that convert listeners into buyers.

The responsive design ensures the complete music discovery and purchasing experience works effectively on mobile devices, recognising that music enthusiasts often browse new releases and make purchases via smartphones.
